CrossFit isn’t new, but its popularity has grown massively in recent years. It’s a training methodology that blends strength work, cardio conditioning, and both aerobic and anaerobic exercises.

This approach challenges and develops all three of the body’s energy systems, helping you optimise performance and increase overall energy output.

ACRONYMS

Don’t worry about the terms or acronyms you’ll hear, we use them to keep things simple and save time.

MetCon stands for metabolic conditioning, and WOD means workout of the day. Our expert coaches design a variety of these workouts to keep training fun, challenging, and effective, including:

AMRAP (As Many Rounds/Reps As Possible): Complete as many rounds or reps as you can within a set time.

EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute): Perform a set number of reps at the start of each minute, then rest for the remainder.

For Time: Finish a specific workout as quickly as possible.

These formats keep workouts engaging, push your limits, and help you see consistent progress.

Do I Need to be Fit to Start?

What Should I Expect in my First Session?

Expect a welcoming environment, a thorough warm-up, a workout of the day (WOD), and a cool-down session.

What Should I Bring?

Wear comfortable workout clothes and athletic shoes.

Bring a water bottle and a positive attitude. We’ll provide the rest!

How Often Should I Attend?

We recommend attending classes three times a week to see the best results.
